Ideaca Employees to Participate in National Habitat for Humanity Build Day

Toronto, ON – September 15, 2009

On September 19th, Ideaca Knowledge Services, a Canadian based consulting firm that advises on, implements and supports business applications, will participate in a National Habitat for Humanity build day across their offices in Vancouver, Calgary / Edmonton and Toronto

A build day is an opportunity for Ideaca employees to spend a day working alongside Habitat for Humanity volunteers and partner families, building houses that will ultimately be owned by partner families. Habitat for Humanity homeowners, purchase their homes and contribute hundreds of hours of “sweat equity” - actually participating in the construction of their own home, or the homes of others. Through volunteer labour, and donations of funds and product, Habitat for Humanity is able to provide affordable homeownership opportunities to low income families – enabling them to become proud homeowners. Over the last year, Ideaca employees have raised funds across their four offices in Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver in the name of Habitat for Humanity for home-building projects in their respective communities.
